Hello! We are Sheyda, Shadi and Nasim. We are three women united by a common goal: to drive positive change in the coffee industry while sharing the refreshing tastes and hidden benefits of cascara with those ready for it.
Our motivation
Growing up in Central America, we witnessed first hand the disparities inherent in coffee production at its source. As coffee enthusiasts, we felt a sense of responsibility. It wasn't until we discovered cascara that we realised the potential for tangible transformation. Our desire was not only to address a significant issue: environmental waste produced by the coffee cherries, but also ensure that this commitment to positive change extended throughout the entire coffee value chain, ultimately reaching the European consumer.
Our mission
Kaska emerged as the realisation of this vision, presenting an opportunity to bring value to three critical areas: the environment, coffee producers, and consumers alike. Through the process of up cycling coffee cherries, we take a meaningful step towards reducing environmental contamination. Simultaneously, we create an additional source of income for coffee producers, promoting economic sustainability. And finally, we introduce a low-calorie, low-caffeine beverage brewed from this super fruit, offering consumers a delightful and health-conscious choice.
